Wire and Crystal Earrings Monday, January 23rd, 6:30-9:30 $35 plus materials Students will learn some basic principals of working with wire while creating these blingy crystal wrapped elipses. These unique earrings are made in one piece.....earwires and all!!

Wired Up Heart and Crystal Pendant
Wednesday, Feb. 8th, 6-9 A new class just in time for Valentine's Day!! Students will learn to work with wire while they create a stylized heart using wire, wrap it with seed beads, then hang a sweet Swarovski elements heart from the bottom. Skill level: all Materials: wire, small amount 11/0 seed beads, 1-6mm bicone crystal, Swarovski elements heart drop. Instructor: Pamela Cashdollar
Crystal Clay Workshop
Saturday, Feb.11th, 12-2 $30 plus materials Bring out your bling with this exciting new product!! Crystal Clay is a colored two part epoxy clay that sticks to almost surface. It is the perfect medium to hold Swarovski elements chatons (small, crystal shapes) to encrust anything! In this introduction to Crystal Clay, students can choose a ring or pendant to crystalize.

Well, you can make your own for far less than in the catalogs, and they are easy to boot! Make one for every outfit in your closet!!

Beaded Worry Ring a two part class
Sunday, March 11th, 12-6 and Wednesday, March 14th, 6-8 $80 plus materials (materials fee payable to instructor) Don't miss the popular workshop, with one of the coolest projects around! Make an amazing silver ring with a band of beads that turn round and round the shank. With Precious Metal Clay (PMC), it's easier than it looks. PMC is a form on fine silver that's malleable and works like clay, but fires to pure silver with a kiln or torch. Learn to create an accurately sized PMC ring, then embellish it after firing with a band of woven seed beads. All tools provided. Class limited to 6 students

Kumihimo and Seed Bead Bracelet Sunday, March 18th, 12-4 $45 plus Materials Two simple movements result this awesome spiral. Learn kumihimo braiding with this speedy bracelet that mimics bead crochet, but much easier! This technique will change it's look depending on the beads chosen. Fun with Fusing
Sunday, March 25th, 12-4 $45 plus materials Hoops and circles and links… it’s all the rage! Explore the technique of fusing fine silver with a butane torch and create links for bracelets, necklaces and earrings! It’s instant gratification without the need for solder or chemicals. Students will enhance three finished earring projects with wire wrapped gemstones, and if they prefer to add more personality -- students can hammer, stamp or oxidize their project. Skill level: all, must be able to follow detailed instructions Materials: 14 gauge fine wire, 28 gauge sterling wire, 2 matching briolettes (6x8mm) 10 small gemstone rondelles (2-3mm) 3 pair sterling earwires. All will be available from either CBB or instructor. Students need to bring the following if possible: chasing hammer, texture hammer, metal stamps, bench block and base, plastic or rawhide mallet, small diamond files, flush wire cutters, 2 pair flat nose pliers. Safety restriction: Pull long hair inot a pony tail and wear cotton or other natural fiber clothing. Instructor: Jan Durkin

Saturday, April 14th, 11-5 $65 plus materials
Students will strengthen their metal working skills by creating a spiraling neckace base and adorn it with a beautiful garden of lucite flowers and leaves, and pearl berries. Please note: this project will not be finished in class, but students will leave the the knowlege to complete it at home. Skill level: Advanced beginner to Intermediate wire working. Materials: 4 med to large lucite bell shaped flowers, 24 lucite top drilled leaves, 4 6mm bicone crystals, 30-35 5mm pearls or glass beads (berries), 30-35 24ga. headpins, 12-18" chain, medium size and weight, matching clasp with appropriate jump rings to attach to chain, 36 5mm jumprings, 10 ft. 18ga wire in metal of choice, scrap 18ga wire to practice on. Please bring your wire working tools (cutters, round, chain and smooth flat nosed pliers), fine file or burr cup, bench block with pad (if no pad, bring a small towel to muffle) chasing hammer, fine sharpie, measuring tape.
